The Northern Angler is now under NEW ownership!
Thank you for all of the support during our grand opening celebration, it exceeded our expectations and we have been very excited to see all the new and old customers. It is amazing to see how many new anglers are wanting to learn about the sport. Thank you for your support!!
Our Half-Day trips have been very successful as well as the private casting and fly fishing schools for those interested in learning more about the sport. Dry fly action has been great in the early morning and late evening with terrestrials throughout the day. The Traverse City Film Festival is underway and we are happy to see customers from all over the country. Let us know if you have questions on fishing in the area, we are happy to help beginning fly fishing anglers to advanced fly fishers.
It's not too early to start thinking about fall salmon and steelhead fishing dates if you are interested in booking a guide trip. Call the shop 231-933-4730 and we can get you on the calendar, while some prime dates are available.
We are open 7 days a week. Monday through Saturday 9 to 6 and Sunday 11-4.
